Othello

Othello is in love. His dear wife Desdemona follows him to Cyprus where he must lead his militia to victory. But unbeknown to him, jealousy is in the air. A web of lies is being spun around him that must only end in chaos. Re-imagined in the early years of World War II, Iago leads you through his plotting and scheming as a troubled Othello becomes clouded by his own doubts and suspicions. Questions of race, trust and betrayal drive The Scullions to new intensities in this exciting and claustrophobic adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy.

"with just eight cast members The Scullions present a pared-back, confident and affecting production [of] Othello."
